About the Journal
1. About the journal
Suffragium is the free biannual publication of the Regional Electoral Court of Ceará. The journal aims to disseminate unpublished peer-reviewed articles and research, which covers Electoral Law and Political Science issues in Brazil. Suffragium first appeared on June 27, 2005 solely as a commentary on Electoral Law, but was then expanded by the Court to include a focus upon Political Science on April 4, 2017. This reformulation was initiated to shed light upon the vital dialogue between political scientists and jurists regarding the political and social impact upon Electoral Law. Please note that all publications published in the pages of Suffragium are authored or co-authored by at least one individual holding a PHD degree.
Currently, Suffragium is available on an exclusively electronic format, which can be accessed through the portal of the Regional Electoral Court of Ceará under the menu item “O TRE / Publicações / Suffragium Revista Eletrônica” or directly at http: //suffragium.tre-ce. jus.br/suffragium.
